I was waiting under a tree for the rain to stop when this birds came

into my frame. Please tell me what you think about this one.

Hi Kent, I like the picture.

People on here keep telling me to use Fill flash and so I am going to tell you the same. This picture would have been really great if you had the flash on and just lit up the bird just a wee bit not to much. Take care.

Thanks! I seldom use flash, but as you say this one would have been better with flash and the distance to the bird was only two meters so it would have worked.

Wow two meters is really close that must have been neat to be that close. its a neat picture with the rain drops too by the way. :o)

I like this shot,it has a lot going for it. May I suggest that instead of a fill flash you could try adjusting you EV and you would have about the same effectI have the 7D and rarely ever use a flash unless I want to get a good catch light in a birds eye.
