You captured the light at the perfect moment. I love how the warm light glows on the snow. The shot is well composed. It draws the eye across the peaks. Nicely done.

Great comparison of lit and unlit ranges with "lit" controlling the image. And of course fine colouring and composition. A pity there wasn't a tadge more DOF I feel. Otherwise the picture would be outstanding.

I am going to kick myself for not making sure I load a good scan onto photo.net. The original slide is quite sharp. I have fixed this now and I hope this scan is better.

Nice shot, Ron. The light is perfect, giving the mountain good texture. The pastel colours are great both on the mountain and the sky. I especially like the smooth gradation of colours in the background. And the snow really adds to the scene. This one is also excellent technically, very sharp. I do have a couple of suggestions on the composition though. I think lowering your camera angle (don't know if this is possible) so that the peak in the front protrudes the line of mountains in the back would make it stand out more. Also, putting something in the foreground (like a silhouette of a person) can add visual interest and increase the depth. Regardless, I like this shot.

This image is very, very lovely. Even in such a nice portfolio, it really stands out. Very nice, I wouldn't change a thing.
