Jamie- I have barn doors on both and I can make them very directional specific. I am going to order a couple of extension arms, so I can also use these for hair lights & kickers when I'm not using them for the hi-key white seamless. That's about the only time I use the backlights. I have a another light I can set on the floor, just with a shade type cover, to use just to do simple back lighting, like halo lighting. I'm not real good yet, but I think I do have the hi-key lighting down to a science.

However, I had a family in there yesterday........ Matthews parents and twin brother. I thought I had everything all set up, used the light meter, set the lights up, started taking images, realized I had not turned the back lights on.....! I had turned them off to do the front light metering..... geezzzzz! Lucky I saw it. Took about 4 images before I noticed.

I don't know why I get so flustered. I start out with a plan and then everything sort of goes to hell! (pardon my language). But...... I start feeling unprepared, I'm not! But I think it's performance anxiety, never had it before, but it must be what it is!!!!!! I sure hope this goes away soon. I'm going to start writing myself notes and sticking them in my pockets, then I'll have to put a rubber band on my wrist to remind myself to look in my pockets! :)

You are welcome M.

Jamie- this is an antique buggy I bought when our daughter was about 4. She is 28. It was antique then and so 24 years later it's even older. My niece had it for a few years, my sister returned it to me a few years back and it's been in my basement awaiting a grand-daughter. Not gonna happen! The boys just look at it an giggle!

This little girl is the grand-daughter of a very good friend. I was always her kids surrogate Mom, when she left town. Alyssa's Mom told me I could be her surrogate Grandmother (NaNa). :)

Jayme, all I can say is if performance anxiety gives you the kind of results you get then stick with the performance anxiety. Your work is inspiring!

Thanks again for the techie details. All the best.

I love B&W's but I think this one is better than the other one, it breathes a little more life into the pic.

Excellent shot, I think I like the original a tad bit better, something with the color/light on the feet just doesn't look right on the doctored one. I also like the better definition of the dress. Nice composition and pose. Cute shot!

Yea, me too Jason. I prefer the original, but it was fun playing with it. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly how I did this :) Guess that makes it a "one of a kind" :)

Thanks Justin- I printed this in B&W, pretty large, like 24 x 30 & had it framed for her mother. It turned out gorgeous :) Both of us were pretty pleased :)
