Le point rouge sous la branche me derange un peu et pourrait etre elimine facilement. Pour le reste, c'est du beau travail.

Hi Gaetan:

Because of the subdued colors, this image is much more subtle than the recent House Finch shots. Even so, what makes this especially interesting to me is the reflected light that illuminates the fine tufts near the tail feathers. --jim

Hi Gaetan. this a lovely shot of a common bird and I had the same thoughts as Jim about the lighting: very interesting as it seems to come from underneath and even lights the branch from the underside as well.

Hi Gaetan, I just wanted to say hi to you and find out what you feel about the 400mmF5.6L so far? And are you happy. I think it is a very good lens for the money but as you know it has to be sunny out to use it. Anyway keep having fun shooting. By the way do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it where you are? Take care.

I am very happy with this lens. It is a very sharp lens and I can focus very quickly with it. Yes it is a lens the I will use with a clear sky. It is possible to take photo on a cloudy day but it is not ideal and I must use a very low speed. I would say that it is the only drawback of this lens for me. Sure if it was IS it would be super but the price would be higher than the $1525 I paid from a local store that offer excellent service.

The bg handling and the composition are first rate. Detail and sharpness are ideal too. Great work.
