ben maddox 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Ok, sorry! This is a nice shot! Something just looked fake when I first saw it. Link to comment
irv 0 Posted July 21, 2005 The verbena flowers were cut from the plant and taken inside where they were arranged for this photo. This probably helps to create the illusion that they are not real. However, a photograph is not reality, it is a representation of what's out in the world. In a sense it creates it's own reality. Therefore, I think it should be viewed, not only as that representation; but, at least or in addition, as an artistic expression of the photographer. In a sense when you look at the photo you also see a part of me. I like the picture for it's design, colors, clearity, etc. and did not think of it as a photographic representation of the flowers. Does that make sense? Link to comment
ben maddox 0 Posted July 23, 2005 Sure, it does not matter to me if it was setup or not. It's still a good shot! I have a few flowers, you should take a look and let me know what you think. Link to comment
