paul.thomsen 0 Posted July 20, 2005 I just read an article on using repetition in a photo magazine I bought and saw this opportunity when getting of a tour boat at Katherine Gorge in the Northern Territory of Australia. Please let me know what you think. The original is a colour photo and the canoes are bright yellow - it didn't look that good to me until I played with some settings in photoshop to make it B&W. I just missed the guy looking up at the incoming canoe with a smoke in his mouth. I didnt know what category to put this in... Link to comment
franciscocpinto 0 Posted July 20, 2005 The white glow on the on the canoes makes the photo look like IR, I like it very much! Link to comment

nicholasprice 0 Posted July 27, 2005 Hello Paul. I think that this works fabulously, and you have produced a wonderful, and interesting image. It is a matter of personal preference, but I really do find the frame with the title really distracting, and wonder what it looks like with out this? 6/6 Regards, Nick. Link to comment
kezia 0 Posted December 7, 2005 I love the composition and light in this photo. It feels made for black-and-white. Onscreen I regret the lack of detail in some of the dark areas and hope that when adjusted for printing you would be able to bring out a little detail, particularly in the two figures. If so, then I imagine it would make a really dramatic print. Link to comment
