I really like the DOF you have used on this picture.

wow, I really like the background here.

This may be a matter of personal preference (probably is) - but the DOF choice does not work for me. At this DOF I would choose a different crop - or alternately use a deeper DOF and leave crop as is.

hi Galuszewski, actually i would love to increase the dof too to have a bit of the neck in focus as well, but this shot was taken a pretty low light condition, so the aperture was set to f2.8.. but thanx for ur comment too!

Well - like I said - it is largely a matter of preference, and we photographers are slaves to the light that is given to us. Perhaps you'll catch our reptillian friend on a sunnier day!

Tan I too would like a bit more DOF like you also but I still think it is a really nice looking picture. Keep up the good work.
