A Boy!

This image really makes you wonder about the boy. Seems he's sizing up the photographer. Maybe if you didn't accept to let him watch your car he might of stole it. I like this picture, and his stare it makes me curious.

Thanks for your comments and for your interest. you are very right, that kid did not trust anybody and even after I gave him a few dollars for his trouble, I still could not make him smile. Also if you saw the environment you would know why. Thanks for your comments, they reflect the fact that the image seems to have accomplished what i wanted the viewer to see.

I'm glad you could't make him smile, because his expression is great. The pose too. The only thing that bothers are those wheels above his head (could be easily cloned or blured when taking a shot if you used larger aperture).

We were on a trip to the beach in Morrocoy, Venezuela and we stopped

to eat and the boy asked if he could watch the car.

Marco, this is quite the image. You can tell that this poor fellow has been through some trials and tribulations.

 

I think it would be worth considering if you were to convert this to B&W and even crop a the car from the top. You might get the top of his head but I don't think it will be the greatest loss. Of course you could also try and clone the car out too. In any case, I think the black and white will bring out the ruggedness of his personality.
