mplonsky 0 Posted July 20, 2005 I am trying to master the MP-E 65mm lens. This is full frame. Looks better when viewed large. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted July 20, 2005 Nice shot...love the background. I knew I'd eventually see you with the MP-E 65mm. How are you liking it compared to your other macro setups, or is it too early to tell? Link to comment
krister hall 0 Posted July 21, 2005 You finally gave up and bought it :) ! I hope you will have as much fun as I have had with this lens! Link to comment
richard_reusser 0 Posted July 22, 2005 If anyone has a shot at mastering the MP-E65 it would be Mark. Whenever I feel too cocky I crank that baby past 2X and get put back in my place! Link to comment
gerard 0 Posted July 24, 2005 Hi Mark, The MP-E65 is a nice beast isn't it? It's like using a P&S up to 5x just concentrating on the image and leaving all technicalities aside. I expect to see some great work from you once you've climbed the learning curve. Regarding this image, the background is really great. It complements the fly eyes and gives an overall sense of menace to the image. I would have liked to see the top of the fly in frame. As it's now it leaves me wanting to see the 'crest' of the fly. regards, Gerard. Link to comment
