i get the feeling that this is an image of a projected image. right or wrong, the texture is not my thing. i also find the crop a little tight, would have liked to stretch it down a little. despite this, i find it fascinating in some hard to explain way. that it's authentic/genuine somehow.

actually, no....the texture I just added to it. It's a regular shot which I took with a regular 35mm Nikon

Jodie, it's hard to read the expression here. Boredom? Ennui? Just thinking? I like the eyes and how you've cropped this.

Nice composition and nice expression.But Personnaly, i would get rid of that Photoshop texture it distracts from the expression of her face and i would consider checking the dark areas seems RED/yellow soft black on my screen !

thanks for all the comments. Alex...I didn't see that on my screen, but when I went back and looked, I did in the background. I took it out on the actual picture I have saved. I don't know how to change it on here though without totally deleting this one.(ie just replace the file)

Hey i took the freedom to make these little adjustment so you could see what i meant : Thats a really nice portrait but my basic distraction was that texture you add to her face. i made this pretty quick (2min) but i guess that the original shot was way better than this ! Keep up the good work ;)
