I love this kind of shot ... brooding skies and empty beaches. I would have preferred a larger uploaded image to get even more of a feel for the atmosphere. The composition of this image is excellent and there is marvellous detail in the clouds. The balance between the white, foaming energy of the surf and the heaviness of the clouds is what makes the image for me.

The atmosphere created by the sky is beautiful and peaceful. Makes me want to be there but in black and white ! More ocean and less sand could make it more interesting I think.
