"Clouds heap upon clouds and it darkens....

I keep gazing on the far-away gloom of the sky,and my heart wanders wailing with the restless wind".

Rabindranath Tagore,Gitanjali,XVIII.

It is monsoon time in India now. It brings rains in the subcontinent much to the delight of farmers and poets.Indian economy is based on the monsoon. It is derived from the Arabic word,'mausin',meaning Season of Winds.

Comments and ratings are welcome. THANKS.

I like the dark and ominous clouds. Reminds me of the times I've been caught in the monsoon during my previous trips. Nicely composed with the farmer and his cattle off centered.

aw gawd ! this is ominously beautiful. Phew do i like monsoons. and why ? well why not. If monsoons deliver such wonderful pictures i will get drenched any day. Terrific pic amalda, as always. Those clouds are simply great. 7/7 for me. Probably would have liked the bullocks exposed more properly. Great nonetheless.
