whydangle 0 Posted July 13, 2005 I,ve found that a more difficult aspect of butterflies is keeping everything sharp on the subject while blurring out the background, i.e. controlling depth. Here is a splendid example. The plane of the butterfly is parallel with the film plane making it tack sharp. The lighting is perfect. It is a FINE capture! Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted July 14, 2005 He reminds me of a low-rider type of car. Sleek. I like how the color coordinates between the two subjects. ^_^ Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted July 14, 2005 I am impressed! The perfect butterfyly flower shot. BTW, I counted 75 white spots in his wings. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted July 14, 2005 Ken- This is outstanding. The detail (perfect DOF) color, subject & composition are very, very nice. The orange in the butterfly echoed in the flower, surrounded by green and edged in polk-a-dots is smashing! Link to comment
