doeke 0 Posted January 10, 2006 Hey Cherlyn. First of all thanks for your comment on 1 of my photos. Secondly congratulations with this beautifull portfolio and especially this photo. It reminds me of a photo I took of a thunderstorm. It also has a halo and when I took it I never expected to see something like it again :). Yet I did, its better than the one I took, and like others I think the first photo has the best color and composition. Keep up the great work! Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted September 2, 2006 Cherlyn, this is an absolutely astonishing photo. The ice crystals at the top of the cumulonimbus cloud are diffracting the light into the colors of the rainbow! That is a phenomenon that we see with "sundogs," but not usually with the cirrus tops of big thunderstorms--but the backlighting makes it possible and thus credible. This is awesome. This is among the best photos that I have ever seen on Photo.net. --Lannie Link to comment
