Well, I'm with you. Fabulous child's portrait. You couldn't ask for a better expression which is enhanced by the very tight crop. Good tones in it also

I'd like to think that if I had a 'style' then this represents the style quite well. The shots are clean and (where psossible) uncluttered. They are closely cropped and contrast considered quite carefully.

One of the reasons I like this so much. Most all my material is tightly cropped

I have a friend who constantly berates me for my 'tightly cropped' photos.

He feels that it's too in-your-face.

I feel that's the whole point.

 

If you get the time to look at my gallery, you will see that I feel it's important to capture a childs beautifully perfect skin, their clear eyes and this is best achieved up close.

I shall in turn have a peek at your gallery - Which I always do when someone comments on my work.
