jfreeman 0 Posted July 8, 2005 I was going through my old negatives, scanning them in to archive, and I came accross one of my favorite pictures. This is an older photo taken in St. James Park in London in the summer of 1991. Link to comment

alaska wolf 0 Posted July 8, 2005 Well done, John. I can sense the interaction between the old gentleman and the bird. I like your composition as well. 6/6 Regards, Wolf. Link to comment
rafikrkamel 1 Posted July 8, 2005 Nice shot John and a very nice idea, but IMHO i would have liked it more if i saw the whole right arm of the old man and a bit of space after it rather than cutting it like that, but that is just me,:) Good work! Link to comment
rhaytana__tim_adams_ 0 Posted July 10, 2005 This '91 shot -- no D2X! no 1DsMKII! -- reminds me that the equipment only matters so much, that the photograph can only be as good as what's in the viewfinder when you click the shutter. You were there and you captured the moment. Congratulations. Link to comment
ZuikoD 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Hello John. I come late to this photo but I can't just go without commenting. It makes me think of our fast paced lives and letting beautiful moments pass us. In a world of lost conversations with friends, spending time at the mall instead of a garden, this photo encompass an unforgetable experience between a man and his natural surroundings. To be able to go home thinking he spent a good time and maybe coming back another day and just "be" with his friends. peace Link to comment
