sports The Windup

This shot was taken at my nephew's little league game back in

June. I don't know this boy's name, but he is a pitcher on my

nephew's team. I was trying to hand-hold a 100-300mm Nikkor zoom,

which was proving to be somewhat of a problem.

Even though nothing in this photo is sharp, I think it works really well. To me it emphasizes the action. The yellow streak (a rail, maybe?) is well placed. Whether consciously or subconsciously, it seems to create a drive out of the picture, because the elbow and hand are touching it. (Sorry, I have trouble to express myself here.)
