michael_moriatis 0 Posted July 9, 2005 Too much of up the nose. Since you are at that angle most shows you have to get creative in trying to get away from that. Try using a monopod with a remote and bring it up to the level of the singer. I like the exposure though. Here is an example of putting the camera above my head. http://www.socalscene.net/Warped_Tour/Transplants/pages/Transplants_8.htm Link to comment
bill_kerner1 0 Posted July 9, 2005 thank for taking the time to contribute..... i wish more people would. i checked out all your galleries great stuff. the stage at this club was exceptionally high. i will look into the monopod and remote great idea. how do most fans and the bands respond to it being in the way. i shot alot of video in the past and am now looking ot start making a living at shooting stills. thanks again. michael_moriatis 0 Posted July 9, 2005 Doesn't hurt to go ahead and do it for a few shots. Try putting above your head first before buying a monopod. I shoot what I want until someone tells me to stop. At that point be respectful and listen to the bouncers and such. I have seen photogs be disrespetful when told what they can and can't shoot. If you listen to the security and be respectful sometimes they cut you a little slack. Link to comment
bill_kerner1 0 Posted July 9, 2005 i shot a few that way but it was so hit or miss and as usual you only have three songs down below so time was precious you can see them all at http://www.flatbrokefishing.com/alktrio/index.htm Link to comment
