Thank you all for your comments. This was a photo that originally came out too dark (polarized filter to cut the sun's glare)... I lightened it and in the process discovered the very real lens flare...

You are too kind, Don, and thank you, Vi P and Andrea. As I wrote Don on the beauty he caught, it is an emotional high to live in the midst of and experience one of these!
