dens 4 Posted July 21, 2005 It was suggested that I crop the top of but I preffer it as it is? any thoughts. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted July 21, 2005 Denis- on this one I'd leave it alone. It's a reflection and it's suppose to be a little distorted and anyway I think that little spot of blue at the top needs to be there for balance. I like it the way it is. It would be wonderful displayed framed next to the other one. I love the colors and the form! I would change the colors on the other one to match this one. Beautiful! I'd title them "Inside/Out" :) Link to comment
dens 4 Posted August 22, 2005 Thanks for the posative comments and I love the idea for the title, its sounds perfect. Link to comment

henrimanguy 0 Posted September 12, 2005 Excellent shot. Have you tried to do this sort of shot with a polarising filter ? It makes nice iridescent effects. I had load such a photo in photo.net but I have deleted it. If I recover it, I will show you. Link to comment
dens 4 Posted September 13, 2005 Thanks for your nice comments. No have not tried this with a polariser but I have recently bought one to help with the harsh light in my malaysia photo's. I am not sure what iridescent effects are? maybe you could post a small version of your photo on here? Cheers, Denis Link to comment
shambhala 0 Posted September 18, 2005 It's the kind of picture where I get to ask: 'How did you do that?' Link to comment
dens 4 Posted September 18, 2005 Haha - well that a step forward for me if you need to ask me questions...:) Believe it or not I looked up and shot the picture. Its a reflection of a glass arch. The mirror's were slightly warrped. Thanks for the comment. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted September 19, 2005 OK Denis, I will post a version of my photo with iridescent effects as soon as possible. Link to comment
dens 4 Posted September 19, 2005 Please do as I would interested to know what you mean? Thanks. Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted September 19, 2005 I like the mixture of straight and distorted that has been commented on previously, but I think what really makes the image is the fact that the clouds behind the distorted lattice do not appear to be distorted, so we have a distorted layer between two normal-appearing layers. shambhala 0 Posted September 21, 2005 So... I see... Just a reflection, eh? Are you not the genius I thought you were then? Ha ha! Link to comment
dens 4 Posted September 21, 2005 No not a Genius, just beginers luck....but I like it.... ;) Not sure why but the colours on my PC are better, this version is a little grey. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted September 24, 2005 This image has lots of WOW to it, wonderful reflections so well captured. Part of the appeal for me are the colors (the limited color palette), and all the graphic lines flowing everywhere, and the sky peeking through. This is a winner in my book. Link to comment
dens 4 Posted September 24, 2005 wow thanks for your comments...very nice. I am glad you like it, I took it for the lines but I am bit confused (I am still a newby), you like the lack of colours, should it be B&W? Cheers. Link to comment
pturton 10 Posted September 27, 2005 Denis, Good collection of lines, curves and colour presented in an impressive image. Very nice! Link to comment
