prennich 0 Posted July 2, 2005 I've recently been experimenting with infrared photography and find it immensely fascinating. What I haven't figured out, though, is if it is atractive because of the novelty or if there is some inherent aesthetic quality to the images. What do you think? (More infrared photos in this folder.) Also, do images taken in this way fall in the digital equivalent of "cross-processed"? The camera that I used (Oly, C-2000Z) is designed for visible light but is sensitive to IR. The only manipulation that I've done is a bit of histogram stretching, but the red and green tones are in the original exposure. Can this be considered a "straight" exposure as long as IR is specified? Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted July 2, 2005 Youd had not to cut the top of the pines... Anyway, dramatic colors. Link to comment
earl_haramaki 0 Posted July 2, 2005 I have been trying to figure this out myself. I do like the color and I agree with the previous comment about topping the trees. I would like to see some of your stuff in straight B&W. Novelty, maybe, but why limit your creativity. Keep working on it! Link to comment
