I shot the picture in Thar Desert /India where i spent 3 weeks last year.

It's a good photo, but I feel that you took in too much in the one photograph--it feels too complex to me. You might try playing with copping the photo in various places to see if you can some up with more simple compositions that enhance the fundamentally abstract nature of these forms.
