Guest Guest Posted June 28, 2005 I love moon shots, nice capture here. Woild have been nice too see the star/pinnacle under the moon, almost supporting the orb itself? 6/5 Link to comment
brookover 0 Posted June 28, 2005 Great moon shot. I would love to know how you exposed this... I've tried a number of times and still get a blown out moon... You not only got a good exposure of the moon, but you got it in context with the spire as well. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted June 28, 2005 Tom, I exposed it on a tripod on Nikon D70 (digital) with quite high sensitivity. In PS I used layers to darken the sky (copy layer, multiply). 300mm lens will give you 450 mm on the digital. jana Link to comment
brookover 0 Posted June 29, 2005 Thank you Jana, for the reply. I shoot with a D70 as well and will try experimenting with PS the next chance I get with a full moon. Very nice portfolio BTW. Link to comment
komzik 0 Posted July 3, 2005 Hi Jana, what a great shot! I live in Prague and have tried and tried to get a moon shot and it just keeps getting blown out with no detail. I shoot with a Sony F717. I read your reply about how you shot it so I will give it a shot. Last night in Prague? How could you leave such a wonderful city? Thanks for all of your great shots, you are really talented! arf71 0 Posted February 16, 2007 Hey! The same idea in two different cities, but, I admit, your shot is much sharper. Congratulations and thank you, Jana, for your comments... Link to comment
