Climbing into Monet.

This is a picture of my son in the Redwood National Forest. I

thought the background blur looked like a painting.

Great use of depth of field, catching everything from the foreground pine needles to the log but nothing past that. The skin tones seem a little cold; don't know why since the background green and foreground brown seem pretty close to normal sunlight temperature.

Interesting use of depth of field. I like how all of the foreground is in sharp focus. The bokeh is mighty crackly/crispy though. Might have been more interesting if the child was facing the camera?

Great choice of title... the background does look like a Monet. I would like to see the boy's head a little sharper but I like the composition and colors (in addition to the title). Regards, Tom

I really like how your son is climbing over the log; I think it is more interesting that he is not facing the camera. Lovely capture; and very clever title! Thank you for sharing it!
