f1-fanatic 0 Posted June 29, 2005 Nice photo of the Constellation on approach with the boards out. The only thing that jumps out is the shutter speed. When I personally shoot props, I limit my shutter speed to a minimum of 1/350 preferring to shoot at around 1/250 if at all possible. Now this really depends on two things.. First and foremost is forward momentum of the aircraft and secondly the speed of the prop in question. ie. a Pitts special aerobatic will spin her prop significantly faster than lets say a WWI bi-plane.
