i like it a great deal and think it might be even more powerful as a black and white image. Please see my remarks on one of your most recent images regarding un-explained ratings.

Gregor, I could imagine extending the walls way up, even to three times their height, perhaps fading them into white or even black, putting her at the bottom of the composition. You would need to add room below her feet, however. I like the image, but I think this way it would emote even more.

 

I just took a peek at your portfolio, and you're the guy who did the image of the saucy redhead with her breast peaking thru the zipper! Memorable image! Great work!

the view from an high point make the legs very short.

I would have took the picture from the ground!

There's a lot of ordinary things about this comp, yet something about it jumps out.

 

Five stars for making me think.

the wall in the background wasn't any higher so I can't add any room on top nor can I do the shot from the ground.

 

And: The image expresses exactly my intention from that high.

I'm thinking that the name for this shot was to imply that her steely gaze and excellent body were too much to resist, but I'm finding that her squinting detracts from the effort, her pose is stoic, the only highlights are her breasts, and instead of scanning around the photo, I just get locked onto them (breasts). Maybe some reflector work to add some light, and get her to open her eyes on the count of 3 as you take the photo.

I agree with others in that it is striking, yet needs a bit more. The pose is very stoic and the angle does make her legs look a bit short. I don't mind the eyes squinting, it adds a little something. What noone has mentioned is that this pic is about COLOR. 99% of the photos I see in color don't USE color. This one does and I applaud you for that. The concrete/stone is a grey blue and vibrates with the reddish and pink flesh tones. At first I thought the critique about only seeing breasts was funny . .but i kind of agree. i suppose due to the perspective shortening of her, which deemphesizes her leghs and hips (which are very nice) and emphesizes her breasts. I wonder if there are other solutions to composition at this site? Overall, NICE and keep it in color! (although I LOVE the B&W of this woman with the flower in her hand).

Interesting setting, interesting model, interesting viewpoint, yet when I see her standing there, I want to know why she thinks she is there. I want to know from the photographer's perspective, and from the model's perspective. It doesn't have to be a story, but the sharp contrast between smooth female body and harsh concrete demands a relationship. (In my humble opinion....)
