Is that your design? I strongly recommend you to register yourself as a bracelet artist. It is so beautiful. Where did you get that inspiration from?

The inspiration came from trying to make jewelery that could have nbeen worn in the mythical times of King Arthur and Merlin .........trying to get that dark age , mythical feel......

Happy you like it....

Fabian, you have great practical skills for pulling off this art and on top of it photograph it yourself.....I would have like to photograph this bracelit on it's own experimenting with different positions/lightning to bring out that blue centre close, but still showing the rest......Great work, double pleasure for you.

Wonderful job on the bracelet... (I love blue...)

Just an idea, take the bracelet outside so it can get full sunlight, this will really bring out the blue. I would choose not to use the hand and arm as a prop, maybe you could use a stone or some form of rock? this would really give it a King Arthur feel... Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more from you soon.

Cheers, Jeff

A beautiful bracelet - I would choose a black background an a light source more from the side - maybe you can make that stone glow and bring out the relief some more. Good work !

beautiful bracelet! i don't think the green really works as the best background... the lighting could really make it look magical if it were not as shadowy and sharp i think? i'm just a noob, so i'm not sure... great work with the bracelet!

beautiful craftmanship. it has a nautical feel with the blue stone and wave-like scrolling along the edges. i think you need to find a female to model this for you outdoors, perhaps near some water. composition is good with the arm diagonal across frame and bracelet forming the cross of the opposite diagonal. must agree that the green doesn't work. this piece could be a nice motif for a series of shots. good work, regards, J.K.

Great job on the bracelet. You have some talent. The blueish metal with the blue stone really make it unique. Good work.

Hi Fabian, thanks for your feedback. Your jewel is very nice and photo is great, if I could suggest, just have another background. Cheers, Fabrice

Its a lovely bracelet and I like the square format but a bit more light would be nice and call it cliched but if it was me I'd hire the arm of a beautiful young model to wear it! Its a strong composition though and I like the diagonals.

Its a nice shot, I might try a little more saturation and a slightly closer crop just so you have the arm and the bracelet on the green background, or any plain surface. Like the shadows though, dont think it needs more light.

Thanks Bert and Martin.............I was in the Himalayas where I made the bracelet, and models are a scarecity in the area.......by the way, that's my arm....made the bracelet for myself, but you are right, it is a little feminine for a guy. Martin...thanks for your opoinion....think you are right

it is an unusual way to present valuables... the diagonal setup works wll. the white shaded frame also works good.

the toens of the skinn and the bracelet seem a bit pale...

Hello Fabian, the bracelet is very well designed and constructed, the shot is very simple not bad in the compo and technique but don?t said too much for me, anyway it is a strange and original combination of too diferent art not too far the one from the ofther,

I have to agree with the other viewers. The bracelet is wonderful. You are a man of many talents. As an image I also agree with the others. I would put it on the wrist of a flawlessly beautiful girl have it close to her face then shoot. Just my idea - all the others are great too.

Thanks Robert.........I wish I had thought of that. I shall start looking for a flawlessly beautiful girl immediately...infact I know one.....great idea...I can picture what you mean. But wouldn't the girl take attention away from the bracelet?

I don't know what of value I can add here, except that it is a wonderful bracelet and that I agree it would be best showcased either on stone or a dark background, or...I kind of like the idea of a beautiful woman, but make sure her eye color matches...:-).

Thanks for inviting me, Fabian...it was worth the time!

Fabian, of course the bracelet is awesome. I must disagree with the others about putting it on a beautiful woman, but that's just me. It does look a bit feminine, but what if you put on a shirt, went outside and shot your arm/hand with a ground cover or dirt in the background? Perhaps a muslin sleeve would help to achieve that Arthurian look.

Hey, my daughter-in-law is an incredible jewelry artist from Indonesia (living in Rhode Island right now). I'll send her a link. Thanks for your comments and rates on my photos!

The bracelette itself is esquisite (Please excuse spelling - not my strong point), and does portray a sense of my mysticism, but that is not what you asked for. The photo itself is not bad, but is lacking IMO. I the photo, it is small to look at detail etc..., there is a difference in the background on the top left hand corner, and the bottom right , there is no detail, just a 'black area', and the Gem itself lacks 'glow'. I agree with Chris Best. I would have photographed the bracelette on it's own, lying down and worked some more with lights. If you do not have have studio lights, you can try experimenting with a study lamp, and cover it with a soft WHITE cloth to diffuse the light. If you want to shoot in natural light, as I usume you have done here let the bracelette face the light, so it can reflect the light. Hope this helps

To me all these photos of braselets look too simple to be considered as an art, and too amateur to be a part of catalogue. I could explain how I would photograph it, but it would just be my vision of it, not necessary the ideal one. You have nicer photos.

The bracelet is simply wonderful, I love the color of the metal, which stones have you used to made this?

Even the photo seems very good, maybe too dark in the bottom right side, but it's too small to be criticised.

I would have even let the green on the upper left filled the frame as you done for the bottom right, maybe a soft light coming from right will help you to illuminate the right side and give a good brilliance to this jewel.

Even the ring is really beautiful!

You're a great jeweler!

BRAVO

Hej Fabian!

Thank you for your comment on my picture "They are coming".

I think the bracelet you made is very beautiful and I especially love the blue stone in the middle. Is it sapphire?
