Moonflight

i have Sony F828 can u please guide me which lens should i use to take pic of moon .. not that detailed but atleast clear and large pics cuz with standard lens its not possible .. ! :(

Sorry for answering that late: this photo is taken with a middle class telescope (Meade LX200) 25000mm focal length and the camera mounted without lens. so the Telescope becomes your lens (diameter 250mm).

So with your Sony at 200mm and a tripod and rather short exposure time you can produce nice but rather small shots. My advice would be, go for

moon photos where a bright star or planet is nearby or add a bit of landscape to the photo. Just go out and try it at the second half of a day. All the best, Wolfgang
