stindphoto 0 Posted June 22, 2005 Very nice light and the rocks are great. To me the big sky is distracting - especielly the top right part - just empty. It takes the focus away from the photo. I would have placed the horizon higher in the photo and included more of those beautyful soft looking rocks. Your shutterspeed is right on - not too much blur - just enough to create the right atmosphere Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted June 25, 2005 From a technical standpoint, this is one of the best images in your portfolio. cheers, Aaron Link to comment
eric_yin 0 Posted June 27, 2005 Thank everyone for the comments, I appreciate it. Peter, I totaly agree with you on "the sky is too big causing the distraction". that's exactly what I realized after I looked at it for couple of week.(I had a cibachrome print of this photo on the wall), I guess it always took longer for me to realize my own mistake...:) It was a cold cold morning and the rocks are so slippery after whole night freezing rain, I'm glad that I had this photo, but regret that I was too lazy at that moment to move back a bit to reset the tripod then have other couple more taken...
