This looks more like the yellow brick...make that sand road to me. I would almost expect to see Dorthy and Toto around the next bend. Spectacular color. 7/7

Great colors, good composition and use of the natural light. Very good work.

Having hiked and photographed in that same section of the Paria river many times, I can honestly say it has NEVER looked anything like this image.

 

I highly doubt that this image is 100% "un-manipulated".The apparent oversaturation of color, and the detail (brightness) in the shadows make me suspect that some type of heavy-handed PS work was used on this shot.

 

Otherwise, nice work

 

 

This image is surreal because you have managed to make muddy water, which ordinarily would be a bad thing, appear beautiful. Strange, but effective.
