Tree over Crater Lake

This is a view of Crater Lake in central Oregon.

The way it is cropped really make the green tree stand out.

The composition is nice, but the light is bad. Much earlier or later in the day would have made this average shot a winner.

Great composition, great angle.

 

But the lighting is flat. If you ever go back to that same spot, try shooting it closer to sunrise/sunset...it would help a lot :)

Nice shot, but the mountains in the background look washed out. I agree with the others about lighting.
