I would crop the head of a parent, which is dark and unsharp. Then you could concentrate on this lovely eye more.

I'd love to see a suggested example - I have played with the crop quite a bit, and when I remove the parent, I find it loses context and starts feeling abstract, so I ended up leaving it as shot. I'd love to see someone else's take on framing this.

I'd like to see Evans (the person holding the child) cropped out a bit more on the top, almost all the way to the top of the child's head. The nose is distracting for me. I think the shoulder, however, is good use of negative space. It should not be cropped. Keep shooting!
