Beautiful shot of a fine figure colour and light are spot on , the only thing is the shadow in the bottom lift is a little off putting.

:-)... Reiner, I owe Merni on that one as I went to look and discovered I was eligible for it! Thank you Francisco, I *always* appreciate your comments and AJ kadash and Richard, it is good to get your input too, thanks.

Hi Renny, thanks for the comment on my "Pelican" picture. Regarding your question about the color of the bird, in this photo, he is much darker, and grayer, than we would see in his natural state. To see his natural color, I should have stopped at one-half (.5f) f-stop less underexposure. I went this far because I was having tons of fun! PhotoShop CS2 does that to you.

Now, back to this very good photo, it is well composed, (balanced, but not stiff), Great focus and dof, with crisp detail throughout (except for the blown-out area at the bottom). I do have one complaint, the highlight area of the sidewalk is overexposed, with no visible detail, that causes the eye to go to the shadow under and to the left of the subject, and that distracts from the subject. That can be fixed very easily with the Shadow/Highlight tool in PhotoShop CS, or CS2. Thank you for rating and commenting on my photos, I value your opinion very highly, best regards, Jim. Oh, I rate this shot 6/6
