atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 17, 2005 I love star trails. I particularly like here the streak of blue just above the observatory. Link to comment

daan 0 Posted June 19, 2005 Very nice - i tried this 2 weeks ago in the mountains, no moon with 200 iso and at f 4. the end result did overexpose completly. Wonder what was your settings her? Link to comment
cbender 0 Posted June 19, 2005 F5.6, 30min exposure. The moon came up in the last 5 minutes or so, illuminating the dome. Link to comment

maurik 0 Posted June 21, 2005 Wow, this is fantastic. Your timing is pretty amazing too, with the moon lighting up the dome just a little. Not a situation that gives an easy second chance. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Chad, I'll bet the neg was more than a bit "thin" (underexposed), judging from the grain which, IMHO, spoils an otherwise wonderful shot. You mentioned here http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00EqiY that you processed it yourself with the Tetenal C41 kit: Do you think the color developer may have been weak (or not quite at 100.0F), leading to unintentional pull processing?
