waltrude_2000 0 Posted August 14, 2005 I find these kind of images negative and really silly/unmature too. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 14, 2005 That's right Walter..... ignore it and the problem will go away! I don't think we are meant to like this picture. Well done! Link to comment
waltrude_2000 0 Posted August 14, 2005 Really, David ? To me it isnt. And what we are supposed to like is irrelevant, isnt it ? You like the picture, I dont. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted August 14, 2005 This is a hard image to look at, but so is life. Realistically this is the kind of image that all of us have to look at now and again. I agree with David that not liking the image will not make the reality of the times. With any luck, images like this will make us do something positive. Well done. -Owen Link to comment
waltrude_2000 0 Posted August 14, 2005 We are not talking reality here. It is a set up image with a young pretty girl putting the needle into her arm + some glamouros ingredienses. And that only happens to show her upskirt, I suppose. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted August 14, 2005 Of course it is a set up. That is not the point. The image of the Marines raising the flag was a set up as well, but it did not detract from the meaning of the image. -Owen Link to comment
waltrude_2000 0 Posted August 14, 2005 Well, to me this is only playing around with reality and the result is neither reality nor fantasy. Posed is the word. . The mixture of artifacts in this case makes it look like a comercial image. No matter what you use, just draw your attention to whatever you want to sell. I find the image very cliche using the right now hip artifacts.High heels, smearing mascara, some glamour, and dont forget something dangerous and tabu or forbidden. And by the way, the image you are refering to Owen, is to me (seen today) about as pathetic as the one above. The end and peace in the valley. Walter Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted August 14, 2005 Carry on. Your opinion is as good as mine they just are not in total agreement. These are the type of discussions the site is in need of. -Cheers Link to comment
