stacey_waselovich 0 Posted November 15, 2001 I don't know why I like it - she's looking out of the picture, her hair's a mess, and the lighting doesn't stand out as being great. But there's something there! It really caught my eye. Her expression is really nice but there's something else. I do really like it. Link to comment
medina photography cherry 0 Posted December 1, 2001 This would qualify as a enviromental portrait. I like the subject, I like the tonality, I don't like how Angel is to far right. I know about the rule of thirds but I think this would have been better more centered. Link to comment
kelwyn 0 Posted March 18, 2003 Fantastic expression. I also think the light and shadows on the face are fine. And while I don't think it would work for all portraits, or even that many, the composition of this one seems perfectly ordinary to be off center. What distracts me is the similarity in tone and color and whatnot between her face, shirt, and background. Great job. Link to comment
jillmyers 0 Posted May 6, 2003 I agree that the expression is great, but I fine the cropping very awkward. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the composition just seems haphazard to me. Also, the sepia is too extreme and has sucked all the contrast out. I would definitely keep working with this subject though! Link to comment
chris_hawkins 0 Posted May 6, 2003 See her before, a hundred times, in a hundred different places, with a hundred different names. Good people, plain and simple. Do anything for you, can have a good time, but also knows right from wrong. Knows what an honest day's work is. Pays her own way. Will live forever and die with dignity. Tell me, am I close to describing her? BTW: Beautiful image in all regards. This is portraiture at its finest. Link to comment
