This picture of my daughter is very popular within our Family. It

just shows a little girl, happy with her new poncho. This makes a

nice colour shot but black and white helps to limit the distraction

of colour and allows the focus to be purely on her expression.

although I like the 'open-eyed' shots of my children (often when they

aren't smiling) this makes it's way to my portfolio purely because

aesthetically, it just feels right and she looks beautiful.

I have another shot (which i shall offer for critique) in my gallery called "Natural Light" which is my favourite shot of my little girl.

"Natural Light" shows the eyes of my daughter which empty my wallet every time she wants.. :0)
