Skye view

ian cameron

Probably one of the most celebrated of views in Skye though doubtless the views from Elgol and across to Eigg and Rhum would question that. I was lucky enough to get a few sparks of evening sunlight. I noticed the stream bed in front of me with its multi coloured rocks of red and grey and decided that would make a leasing foreground for this charismatic backdrop. Pentax 67 II, 55-100 zoom, polariser, 0.45ND grad to horizon. F22 at 1 sec. on Velvia. Please feel free to visit my website for some other recent uploads, Transient light, There are some superb new shots at Timecatcher too.

The mountainous Cuillins near Sligachan Skye, Scotland. The colourful

rocks and purplish hue to the mountains pleased me greatly.
