knottedbard 0 Posted June 8, 2005 I'm just wondering what people think. I'm pretty much starting out and would like to get into portraiture and don't have any time or money to go to art school as I am already at university studying theater. So please, any advise on exposure, focus, framing, angle, lighting (this is all natural light, by the way), film... I'd really like to know more about how to use different films, this is Kodax TX. Thank you and be well! Peace... Ryan Link to comment
aruel 0 Posted June 9, 2005 Hi Ryan!, i may suggest you to read the technical documents this site has in order to learn about this... http://www.photo.net/learn/ Theres plenty of good documents there. So about this photo, lacks of contrast due to the intense difuse lighting.About the composition, hmmm, the subject has a natural expresion/contortion, which is a nice and pleasant to see in a photo. But looses some stremgth, in my opinion, in the way you composed this photo... theres too much space on the right and top side with elements that dont really say much.... let me play a bit...
