masteroffilm 0 Posted November 4, 2001 Having direct sun light only capture an area, like just the forground or background is a favorite for me, unfortunately I don't think I've ver had a camera with me when I've seen it. It add so much depth and charactor to a scene. You've captured it very well in a lot of your pictures. Nice Job! Also great job on exposures! Link to comment
mstrada 0 Posted November 15, 2001 You picked just the right time to shoot this. I know nature leaves us little choice about some things, but if I had my druthers, the cloud behind the mountains (it is a cloud, isn't it?) would either be more obviously cloud-like or not there at all. As it is, it is a distracting field of darkness. Link to comment
chjohnson 0 Posted April 4, 2002 Don't you just love photographing down at Portage? The lake, the whole valley -- always great photo ops -- as long as you are not being assaulted by sideways sleet! (Then again, I pretty much like everything down the Turnagain Arm once you get past Beluga Point.) This is simply a fantastic, dramatic image. Great composition and colors. Great job! Link to comment
katherine_ayers 0 Posted June 4, 2010 amazing how the dark slope causes my eye to go upward towardthe peaks! I like the way you caught the light as it glides acrossthe peaks. Link to comment
