Until now, I've been a day-hike kind of guy, but after falling in love with some of your photos, I'm going to get a sleeping bag and tent, and spend a night or two in the North Cascades. Thanks for the inspiration. Ned

I love the light and the feeling of cold - yet a touch of warm on the mountain... Question - What was to the right of the mountain... more mountain or was it something not photographable.. I'd have liked to see another shot but moved over or shot vertically to change the balance a little... In any case I do admire the photo... Many of your images in fact...

Is this a *doppelganger*(?) or what? A mirror Lake untouched by human pollution......such colorful beauty of God's creation. Makes one wonder what's in the other dimension.

There is so much good stuff in your portfolio, I don't know what to do with myself! Quite a treat, but I especially like the composition of this one and delicious light on the rock.

Many of the images I see that are somewhat like this lack the intimacy you give this by having the foreground right in front of the camera as an inviting place to stand or sit to enjoy a being there feeling to enjoy the incredible majesty of the mounmtain and reflection. You found your own spot and timed the light well. Just Super!!!!!

The serenity is unreal...makes you wonder just where did that

boulder come from??  The coloring and the just the right amount

of light really is beautiful.  The light is even reflected...wow!
