"A place on Cape Cod"

This resembles a vintage postcard ! Great vanishing point and dramatic sky. I love the repetitious lines of the cottages and their stairs. A beautiful composition.

I like the dichotomy of this image. It is a view of a vacation spot, yet the ominous sky does not feel inviting...who wants to be at the beach with a storm coming on?(Except us, of course) I agree with Marni as to the nostalgic feeling that the sepia creates. The preseason emptiness also gives it a different mood...maybe portending calamity.

I really like this one, too, Roger. Sepia works well. Great depth and nice lead-in for the eyes, following the little houses.

Funny to see all these little places empty, but since it was not the season...now they are all full of kids, dogs and such...

the tones here fit the subject admirably.

Yes, colour did not fit this image at all...needed the "Postcard" feel....
