This photo just invites further visual exploration. As for the comparison, normally I favor B+W, but for the most part I prefer the color image. The green foliage adds some visual contrast whereas the B+W can be a little tonally indistinct in spots. Also, the main pathway stands out more in the colour version due to its relative lack of colour against the beige toned buildings. Having said that, I prefer the sky in the B+W to the sky in the colour version; the highlights seem to be a little more under control.

I like this photo very much, and more so than the B&W. This digital version could be sharper, but I am sure the slide looks awesome. Thanks for posting.
