tina_ness 0 Posted June 1, 2005 I took a class for handpainting Black and Whites, but I have now learned to do this through Photoshop7. Comments please! Link to comment
ronbudway 0 Posted June 1, 2005 Normally I don't go for bird shots because they are so common, but this is truely unique. I love that you included the feeder and that it has an unreal red glow to it. Makes me think of what the bird might be attracted to. Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted June 1, 2005 I think this a good way to have a man made object with nature. I would clone out the dirt on the tip of the feeder.Title is funny. Link to comment
tina_ness 0 Posted June 1, 2005 Thanks Ron and LeAnn!! LeAnn I don't know if you noticed, but I'm for Minnesota and I see you were born and raised here! I had intended to clone out the dirt, but when I finished the color I was anxious to submit my photo. I guess I need to learn to slow down Huh!! Here's a dirt free image....... Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted June 2, 2005 Oh wowww no I hadn't noticed! I am now looking through your gallery and immediately recognized the Ren.Fest and the Mn zoo. I lived in Elk River until I was 20. Good to meet you:-) Oh and yes great touch up on the feeder. Link to comment
ilich_zuniga 0 Posted June 2, 2005 Call me nuts but I love evrything about this shot except the touch up. Hummingbirds are blessed with some very beautiful colors given to them by nature, why obscure them on purpose? I could see the background being obscured on purpose but the bird itself? That being said I love the compositon, and the idea is very unique. Link to comment
