RAF Gloster Meteor

airwinger

Photo's from a small airshow contained within a larger event held in a small village near the south of England. As I only intended to photograph the airiel section of the show and being short of funds, I decided not to pay the ?26 entry and positioned myself in a nearby location(A local farmers gate entrance). The good part of this was that I was able to see the whole flight path of the display area. The downside was that the planes flew between a quarter to a half a mile away from where I was standing. Even though all these photo's were taken using my Sigma 50/500 zoom multiplied by 1.6 for my Canon 10D, I have had to perform extensive cropping and cleaning to the images but still felt some of the photo's were well worth showing to others with a similar interest. WM167 is a Meteor TT20, I think it's being presented as the NF11. Nice shot. Regards. Pete

Composition wise, I think it would have looked better with the empty space in front of the plane, instead of behind it. 6/6
