whilst this is a nice image of your cute grandson, I feel the flash is overpowering giving a real 2 dimensional cut out look. Nevertheless the expression is sweet, the red is nice (not keen on the reptile but 2 yo boys are lol - got a 2yo son myself), just a softer light source and some facial modeling would give this a much nicer feel. Cheers.

Thanks Amanda for your comments. I appreciate them. This photo was taken at a park with a circular polarizer filter. He was in the shade of the trees and the auto mode brought up the flash, otherwise I probably wouldn't have used flash. Since I live in Texas and he lives in California, I don't see him often which is a bummer.
