threeleaf 0 Posted May 28, 2005 Leo - great atmospheric shot - it provokes questions - 6/6 Link to comment
sterioma 0 Posted May 30, 2005 I have tried playing with my browser's window, to check whether a more square format would have suited this composition better, basically cutting some of the empty space on the right hand. In the end, I think that your framing is still better. Another winner, very powerful image. On the technical side, I appreciate the DOF the 50/1.4 has produced here. Link to comment
leorossi 0 Posted May 30, 2005 Stefano: thanks for the appreciation. I had tried the same thing but the glasses would wind up in a bad spot. Maye this here is the best cropping, incidentally the original on-camera. Link to comment
manuelbayo1 0 Posted October 5, 2005 Leo, nice photo. I think you've been able of managing hard light conditions, with deep blacks and very high lights without loosing any relevant detail. Very suggestive. Texture in the table foreground is also great. Link to comment
leorossi 0 Posted October 5, 2005 Thank you Manuel. This was a roll of Agfapan 25 which I developed in Rodinal. Unfortunately they don't make this film anymore. The image is from a direct negative scan. Link to comment
