In the Grass.

I know it is a little 'hot' on the left side, but the sun was bright

and she was crawling and I was snapping. Lowering highlights in

photshop too far made it look terrible. Any suggestions? Mike

This is very hard if not impossible to fix. The bright side of her cheek is a uniform brightness. There is no detail. Maybe you could attempt to clone in some detail from elsewhere but I suspect that will be futile. Here is an attempted fix using a contrast mask. (I did this to another image of yours first. There, it worked better because the problem was not as severe.)
