The red roof drew me in, even in the thumbnail, yet somehow the picture leaves me wanting something - a human presence perhaps?

Well, the subject matter is interesting enough, but to me, the colors look a little washed out. The blue of the sky could be contrasting the red of the roof more. The greens of the field appear a little too light. I have some suggestions to try: try underexposure by about half a stop. Also, I know this isn't always possible or convenient, but try shooting at a different time of day, either near sunrise or sunset to get different lighting. I love your other work, keep it up.
