Crescent Sunset 2

Ah! You've cropped it! I'll have to go to your folder and check it against the original, but it looks good to me!

I think the vertically "cropped" picture inthe folder is the better of the sunsets.

A classical motif but still beautiful...

 

 

I actualy cropped it in the view finder of my camera. This is a seperate shot of the same sunset.

I would like your input as to weather this is better or worse than

the portrait version in my folder. Thanks.

The other one has the ground filling the bottom of the picture, giving it a more comfortable foundation.

Unfortunately, you sacraficed a good part of the forground and sunset to fit the crescent moon in... the thing is, the moon is very small and most of the frame is just dark sky. I haven't seen your other shots, but this one might have been improved by vertical framing so the ground shows some, or leave horizontal and exclude the moon. A wider view (shorter focal length lens) would be nice, but then the moon would be even smaller...
